DG Proto supports custom die-cast components through our manufacturing group, with precision CNC machining for features that require additional accuracy or a specific surface finish.
From drawing review and tooling planning to casting, secondary machining and inspection, we help customers define a practical route to finished metal parts.

Review part geometry, functional features, appearance requirements and expected production volume.
Discuss die design, parting lines, draft, wall thickness and other tooling considerations before quotation.
Coordinate custom die-cast parts based on the approved design, alloy and production requirements.
Plan removal of gates and flash and prepare castings for any required secondary operations.
Machine critical faces, bores, holes and threads where the drawing calls for additional precision.
Review finishing and inspection requirements before the manufacturing route is confirmed.

Custom housings with mounting and assembly features.
Cast enclosures reviewed for fit, finish and secondary machining.
Brackets and supports designed around the project’s load and assembly needs.
Cast components with thermal features and machined interfaces.
Parts with integrated ribs, bosses and mounting details.

Some functional features require machining after casting. DG Proto reviews the drawing to identify critical mounting faces, bores, threads and mating features, then plans the CNC operations and inspection around those requirements.
This approach helps customers source a finished component rather than coordinate casting and machining as separate projects.
We review the part drawing, appearance requirements and critical dimensions before confirming the inspection plan. Depending on the project, checks may cover incoming castings, first-article approval, in-process machining and final inspection.
Please identify any sealing surfaces, mating features or cosmetic surfaces when sending your RFQ so these requirements can be considered early.
Send us your 2D drawings or 3D files, preferred alloy, estimated quantities, surface finish and any critical requirements. If you already have castings and only need CNC machining, let us know that as well.
